In the olden days, when the wind picked up after dusk, one could sometimes hear a terrible noise.
It sounded like rough barking dogs, mournful, high-pitched whistling and sometimes even loud bangs across the sky.
For centuries, people believed that it was the Asgardian god Odin riding with his troop of supernatural
beings in persuit of the forrest Nymph. They charged violently over mountains and forests.
My interpretation of this story is that Odin has fallen inlove with the Nymph, and that is why he wants
to hunt her and kill her. Because who would want to love a monster?
